Meg hadn't expected visitors. Especially this late at night. The little shithole she called a hotel was practically falling apart, and Meg had thought she was the only one staying there.

Dear Katherine, 

      Well, here it is. I’m sitting in the hospital dying, something you’ve always wanted. You know, I’ve always wanted to tell you something and hell, I guess now is the time. I only hated you in the beginning because you were a huge disappointment to me. I wanted you to be my family, show me kindness, help me. Instead, you were ready to betray me and my loved ones. I needed someone in my life to teach me what was going to happen and you weren’t that person. It hurt. And then everything escalated. I’m sorry it did, but I’m not sorry that I forced the cure upon you or anything of that sort. You did deserve it, you have to admit it. As you said, I found a way to save myself and weaken you. I’m simply writing this to avoid any guilt I may feel. Have a nice life, Katherine.
