♕ { Childhood Headcanon }

One childhood headcanon I have for Inuyasha is that when his mother died and he was by himself, Sesshoumaru took care of him until he got a little older so he could survive on his own. However, Sesshoumaru somewhat blamed the young hanyou for his father’s demise, and held it against him. His grudge only grew worse when the Tetsusaiga was left in Inuyasha’s name. When Inuyasha was young, he loved his brother but couldn’t figure out why he hated him so much. Around the age of 8-10 ( demon years around 100 or whatever) Inuyasha was abandoned by his brother, and told never to show his face around him again. He was grateful his brother took care of him until then, but he too hated Sesshoumaru for leaving him alone when he was just a small pup. 

ღ { Love/Sexuality Headcanon }

Inuyasha’s sexuality mostly revolves around being straight—with the exception of his feelings for Kouga when he finds himself drunk. I ship Inuyasha completely straight, with the occasional ship with Kouga. I probably won’t ship him with other males ( Not that there’s anything wrong with them ^^) I just see him more of a ladies man, if ya know what I mean.

As for his sex drive, I find Inuyasha a very dominant lover who likes to be in control, but is always trying hard to please his mate over himself. When he’s having sex, he makes sure his partner is completely comfortable so their love making can be as sensual and completely pleasurable as possible for both of them! He’s very shy before hand, but he’s usually the one that instigates the act before his partner—a very horny boy indeed. XD He’s not overly sex driven, but when it comes to his mate (kagome) He’s found a new pleasure in pleasing her under the sheets.

However, when he’s drinking, his sex drive changes completely. What usually is sensual and erotic, becomes dirty and rough—just the way drunken Inu likes it. Also when drunk, he takes on both female and male.

But all in all, his true love is and will remain Kagome. :)

✄ { Pet Peeve Headcanon }

Although he does it alot himself, Inuyasha hates whining. He hates when others whine around him, and he hates that people would rather bitch and whine about a problem rather than solving it. 

Another Pet peeve of his is when people talk poorly of others before getting to know them. Inuyasha was the victim of many rumors and cruel jokes when he was younger, so he hates when people are treated poorly without given the proper chance. “If you ain’t got nothin’ nice to say, then shut yur fuckin’ mouth!”

ϡ { Mental State Headcanon }

hmm..this one’s tough. I’ll do talk about my AU Inu’s mental state. 

My AU Inu is a broken hearted, broken minded soul. He’s in a very fragile mental state of mind, and has many many issues. I choose to make my AU Inu suffer mentally and emotionally because why not. Along with severe depression, Inuyasha has a constant anxiety about those around him and about himself. He lost his family, his older brother hates him, the love of his life was killed, and he just feels alone and lost. He drowns out his problems with drugs and alcohol, and contemplates suicide daily. The only thing keeping him in this world is the hope to rebuild his heart with the help of his newly found friend, Kagome.

♆ { Body Headcanon }

Inuyasha’s body is covered in burns and scars. Even though the Fire Rat Kimono protects him from the worst of an injury, he still get’s hurt and scars easily. Although his body heals fast, his human blood prevents his body from remaining scar free. Covered in scars and burns, Inuyasha is very self-conscious of his appearance and tries hard to remain covered at all times.

Inuyasha wiped away a few of the newly formed beads that were threatening to drip down his hot flesh. As he stayed perched over Kagome, Inuyasha blushed a little at the noises coming from Kagome’s lips. Trying to tease the girl, Inuyasha rubbed his warm skin against Kagome’s fragile frame before whispering, “tell me what you really need Kagome..” As he spoke into her ear, he let his hands slowly wander down her contours, caressing each landmark that made itself known to his soft fingertips.
