him getting used to wearing panties for some reason(idk he finds them more comfortable or smth and he likes the idea of noone knowing that he wears them? Personal victory for the faggot)
And then just. Stanley figuring it out.
Oh fuck yeah king, that's the shit I'm talking about. I have a drabble a bit like that somewhere in my ramble tag already, but there's always a need for more slutty feminized humiliation kink Ford. Here ya go, and thanks for the ask.
ā¤ļøšš
When Ford asked Stan if he wanted to sail the sea together, Stan thought things couldn't possibly get any better. Sailing the world with his other half like they always dreamed, what more could he ask for?
Then, impossibly, things got even more perfect, when a night of drinking led to the both of them being way more honest than usual and, well...
They were together now, as both brothers and life partners, partners in every possible way. It was perfect.
Except Ford was acting weird.
Not that that was odd for Ford. Stan would and had literally gone through hell and back for his brother, but he'd be the first to admit Ford's always been a bit of a character. But he'd been acting weird in ways he hadn't before, and Stan was starting to get concerned.
The two of them fell into a sexual relationship pretty quickly, not wanting to waste anymore time together, and while Ford always seemed eager, he wouldnāt undress in the same room as Stan. Stan's mind was still a bit fucked in certain places, but he knew Ford definitely didn't always have a hangup about that because he vividly remembered Ford changing in the same room as him when they were teens and shamefully trying to sneak a peek.
Stan's first thought was that Ford must've been ashamed of his body (Which made absolutely no sense when he was built like a greek god, but whatever. Ford was self-conscious about weird shit sometimes.) or his scars. But they had had sex with the lights on before, and while Ford would sometimes get upset looking at his scars, he'd told Stanley it was less shame and more melancholy that filled him when he thought of the marks of his past.
Stan just couldn't figure it out, and he was at his wits end. Soon he'd have to just ask Ford what his deal was, abd he wouldn't be a true Pines' man if he didn't exhaust every other possible option before trying emotional honesty.
So he barged in the bathroom while Ford was getting ready to take a shower.
"Stanley, what the fuck!" Ford shrieked, having pulled out a gun immediately upon Stan bursting into the room. Probably not Stan's best idea to startle a man with such strong survival instincts, but Stan was distracted from his almost being shot by finally seeing Ford partially undressed, wearing nothing but his turtleneck and-
"Are those panties?" Stan asked stupidly, completely struck dumb at the sight of his manly, sci-fi action hero brother with a lacy little number fit snug around his hips. Ford looked down, as if also surprised by what he was wearing, and his face flushed as pink as the pretty little silk panties he was wearing.
"Ah, well." Ford stuttered, before looking up at Stan with an embarrassed little grin. Stan needed to destroy him. "Yes, I suppose they are. Apologies, Stanley, it's not that I didn't trust you, it's just as much as I enjoy wearing such things I've always been a bit embarrassed..."
"You should apologize." Stan growled, taking a step forward and crowding Ford against the bathroom wall. "Dressing like a slutty little girl all this time and not letting me see."
Ford's eyes dilated, his breath hitching, and Stan grinned. Bingo.
"Now then, how's about you start making it up to me, doll?"

I know you posted about it awhile ago but I would LOVVE to hear more about ford going back in time in his own body š„¹š„¹how does Stan react?? So is has Ford who has completely disregarded his anger over the perpetual motion machine accident? If so, how do you think he would respond to the inevitable questions of Stan wondering if heās upset with him? Would Stan think this is too good to be true? How clingy is ford? I have so many questions⦠this au is very thought provokingā¦
WAAHG MY FIRST ASK.....I'm so excited I can't believe someone liked my au enough to ask about it...
Anyways I have tons of thoughts of this au, sorry if this response goes all over the place. Answering your questions in order Stan would definitely be very shocked since he's gone about, I don't know the exact timeline, about five years without a peep from Ford and suddenly Ford is calling him up to his cabin. He's even more shocked because while he isn't sure why Ford wants to see him he wasn't expecting Ford to collapse into his arms and weep, holding him like he feared Stan would dissappear if they were separated again. He's definitely really worried that something is wrong with Ford, although he's not complaining about having his twin in his arms again. All in all, Stan is confused but happy.
Ford is absolutely over his perpetual motion machine. I personally believe the main reason for Ford's lasting anger over the accident was mostly do to the fact that Stan didnāt seem to care about how badly he hurt Ford. We know it was an accident, but considering Stan immediately started talking about treasure hunting and sailing, and didn't even apologize despite seeing how furious Ford was...it makes sense Ford was so pissed. But Ford has seen firsthand what Stan is willing to do for their family, spending 30 years to bring him back and literally dying to save the world from Fordās mistakes. (I don't subscribe to the idea that everything was Ford's fault, but unfortunately I think ford does lol. He's definitely very guilt wracked in this au.)
Does Stan think this is too good to be true...not exactly, although he is sort of waiting for the other shoe to drop. He can tell something is wrong with Ford but he obviously has no idea what and he doesn't want to push his brother because he's still walking a bit on eggshells around him. Stan at first probably thinks Ford is having some sort of isolation induced mental breakdown from living alone in the woods or something, possibly thinks someone is threatening him since Ford is so...skiddish at times. (Why does he look so scared when they go into town together?) Sidenote Ford absolutely still has his Bill trauma. He remembers quite vividly every swallowed spider, every electrocution, every threat. Even if they never happened in this timeline, he's still suffering from PTSD. It causes more and more tension as time goes on because Stan isn't stupid, he knows something is going on, his brother is terrified and Stan just wants to help him.
How clingy is Ford? Oh jeez. He'd probably watch Stan shower if he could get away with it. He's like a lost dog, and acts like a kicked puppy the few times Stan wants to be by himself. I think he's worst those first few weeks when Ford first gets Stan back and as time goes on he's able to get a bit less clingy, but he probably permanently is more clingy than he was before. Luckily for him, Stan is also extremely clingy and he relishes the attention.
(The only time Ford doesn't want to be around Stan is when Ford is tired. There's a part of him that wonders if Bill is secretly still inside his body, waiting for Ford to let his guard down. Waiting for the chance to get even with Stanley.)
All in all, Ford is constantly on the verge of a breakdown, terrified of Bill and terrified of failing Stan again, and Stan has no idea what's going on with his brother and is just trying to comfort him and appreciate their new closeness. Also they're both pining for each other but if I get into that this ask may never end. In the end if you have a different idea that's fine too, I love the thought of being able to give people cool things to think about and I'd hate to hamper anyone's creativity by setting things down in stone when the au so far is pretty much just a bunch of disjointed ideas anyway. Thank you so much for the ask, I hope my rambling was somewhat coherent, and I'm so happy you like the au!
How does ford convince Stan to stay? Do they talk everything out right away or does Stan believe his brother is experiencing some kind of mental break and thinks he needs him? Or is he just sticking around as long as ford will have him? Iād imagine the whiplash between feeling like heāll never be able to mend that gap vs being doted on would feel crazy to him
Ford: can I try convincing you to stay
Stan (already planning on staying bc he loves his brother and not sleeping in a car: sure lol
Ford is NOT in the position to talk things out, both because how do you explain you've time traveled 35 years into the past without sounding insane and also he's just. Hysterical at this point. He's confused and lost and scared he's reeling from ptsd he's afraid to fall asleep every time he does he dreams of his brother's corpse. He probably just starts sobbing the second he sees Stan and is inconsolable.
Meanwhile Stan obviously is going to stay because Fordās behavior is completely terrifying to him. He's offering to clean the house for Ford while he rests and taking the opportunity to look for drugs. He's convinced that this is some sort of mental break so he isn't completely sure Ford actually misses him or if this is some bizarre guilty breakdown. He doesn't exactly care though, sure he wants to help Ford feel better and he'd prefer if ford wanted him to stay around for real, but if all Stan can get is his brother like this he'll take it. It beats being without his twin and it definitely beats sleeping in his car.

For the Sherm Spawn AU: How would the slow burn go between the Stanās? I need to know the angst to fluff ratio here
So first thing's first, I think that the twins would work through their resentment pretty quickly. We see that in canon when Ford called him over and Stan thought it was so that the two of them could go sailing he was immediately one hundred percent down. And I've mentioned it before, but I believe Ford's long lasting resentment over Stan breaking his machine was less just that he ruined Ford's chance to go to college but moreso that he didn't seem to be at all apologetic for what he did. It really wasn't Stan's best look and could easily make Ford feel like Stan doesn't care about him.
But that's clearly not the case, since as soon as he gets the call Stan comes to help him. Ford is aware that he's the only one who is in writing responsible for the children, Stan doesn't have to be here, and he sure as hell doesn't have to stay after Ford gets a bit more on his bearings.
But he does.
They're still not...great, at communication at first, and they're both stressed and tired and forced to share a small space for the first time in a long time and also dealing with the loss of their older brother and his wife so it's not like they won't fight. But all in all this is mostly fluff I would say. Mostly I want the two of them learning how to live together, getting more comfortable together and then realizing that wait, did they just think of Dipper and Mabel as "their kids?" Falling into the quicksand of domesticity, if you will.
Omg⦠I love this au. how does ford develop feelings for Stan? Has he always loved Stan or did he realize along the way while he fusses over this young stan?? Maybe he doesnāt even realize but is very obvious AND oblivious about his feelings but just thinks heās being a better brother?
Ugh I haven't really thought about it but all those options are so good. I always have a soft spot for a teen Ford who's suffering under not only feeling like a freak for his fingers and his intellect but for being gay and being gay for his brother no less....disgusted with himself and desperate to separate himself from Stan to try and escape those suffocating feelings....only for Stan to seemly betray him and everything to go wrong. Snap forward to a world where Ford has literally watched that love die, who spent his entire life refusing to acknowledge those feelings until he literally ran out of time and now he has a second chance...
Well, of course he's not going to do anything. Stanley would hate him just as much as Ford hates himself. But he doesnāt have the strength to push Stan away anymore, so instead he's just being clingy and hating himself for it. Literally laying on top of Stan nuzzling into his neck to smell his scent and ground himself as they watch TV while he internally hates himself and Stan tries not to get a boner lol.
And if Ford didn't realize until he was already taking care of younger Stan...oh jeez. Take all his self hatred and crank it up to 11. Now on top of everything he's convinced he's a predator since he's technically mentally a 60 year old man wanting a guy who's in his mid 20s. Yes, that's obviously not the case, but he's a bit hysterical right now. Stan wonders why his brother seems to be crashing out more than usual. Ford is on his hands and knees begging the axolotl to strike him down now.
If he never found out he'd be so deep in oblivious, oblivious denial. Of course he thinks about Stan 24/7, that's his twin, his other half! The man he loves more than anyone else that Ford had almost lost forever! Of course Ford would do anything for him. Of course he wants to spend all his time with him, only feels safe when in Stan's arms, smells his clothes sometimes when Stan is in town and Ford is lonely. So he had a few dreams of Stan pinning him down and having his way with him, that's bound to happen with people who are as close as the two of them are. And yeah, if Stan asked to do that to him Ford would agree happily, because his brother deserves everything and Ford wants to be a good brother for him.
Okay maybe not quite that far but it would be awful funny.
My preference is the first option where Ford has always known he had feelings for Stan, but writing down that last option really made it grow on me lmao.
what is ford and Mabelās relationship like in your AU where Shermie bites it? Once Mabel is older
First off extremely funny way to word it. Second of all Mabel is his sweet little angel. I don't subscribe to the notion that Ford "prefers" Dipper, he very clearly adores his weird little niece in canon. And he's even more adoring to her in this au! That's his baby girl!!
They're very close. Mabel might be less interested in reading and research than Dipper, but she still loves going on adventures in the woods. Ford takes her on hikes to visit the more friendly oddities like the plaidypus and scampfire, and when the gnomes try to make her their queen he blows them up violently and teaches her how to use a grappling hook for protection. (He wanted to give her a more traditional weapon but she really wanted the grappling hook and he finds it hard to say no to her)
He does a bunch of "self care nights" with her because she worries about him working so hard! He also always lets her paint his nails because since he has six fingers she can do the FULL RAINBOW on them!!! She always talks about how great his hands are for that and that they make her feel happy and safe and Ford definitely has cried about it once or twice (or more)
Basically, she's his little princess and she knows it (she has definitely used it to her advantage before, the little scamp). She's had him wrapped round her fingers ever since she grabbed his hand as an infant and smiled a toothless grin up at him.
