So I'm reading a doll book called night of the living doll and I was wondering how you can use regular dolls like stuffed dolls in witchcraft. Not like
Hello !! I have little knowledge of magic with puppets / Dolls.(Who is the author of the book?) I am very interested in learning more about it.
However, I learned the following options for working with dolls:
Dolls made of cloth or clay (Or other materials, such as apple sticks, etc.) 🎎
Usually filled with sawdust to take shape and herbs that correspond to the primary intention of the enchantment 🧸
When the material used is clay, small amounts of primary herbs are kneaded and then mixed into soft clay. Photos, hair, nail shavings and clothing belonging to the person should also be added to the puppet / doll.
The intention is to make the doll look like the person, so that what is done with the doll really happens. The whole process is based on the principle of magic, Law of Similarity (also known as homeopathy or imitation magic), which basically states that similars produce similars, that is, an effect resembles its cause.
In the simplest terms, everything you do for the symbolic representation of a person, thing or place, will directly affect the same person, thing or place.
So I believe that to have the best effects, it would be ideal to make the doll with personal items of yours or the person for whom you will do the spell. And if you use a regular doll, that does a previous cleaning, washing and smoking with insense. It would also be nice to use a doll that belongs to this person.
I hope it helped you in some way 🌷
