You know, I've been thinking a lot about, in this AU, there are some mixed families, like Spencer being raised by humans (for the most part), and Stephen Hatt being raised by a puppet. A beautiful thing, honestly! But I do wonder if such situations presented unique challenges. I could be overthinking the whole thing, but I can't help but wonder.
I'm going to use Stephen Hatt's upbringing as an example, since we know less of his upbringing than Spencer's. What was it like for him to be raised by a puppet? Was it any different than having a human family? And were there any unique challenges that presented themselves?
Stephen Topham: "when other humans figure out who take care of me- it got bad really bad"
Stephen Topham: Though it was more humans complaining- many puppets accepted me more than humans..
They have more hope and empathy than most humans I have met...
Stephen Topham: "Also I guess It would be very important to know...."
Puppets need to learn a lot about humans to take care of one ... And there's a lot of judgement on those puppets who raise humans
One wrong move and that puppet would be... Judge
It's way more difficult for a puppet to adopt a human than a human adopting a puppet....
So my father definitely worked hard to keep me
