HE WATCHES HER as she drifts about, ever so fascinated by the grace she wields, by how easily it seems to come to her despite the wildfire he knows CHURNS so recklessly in her spirit. yes, there is most certainly an allure to that which resembled a man’s demise—at least, only when she wished it so. 

       but it isn’t the omnipresent POWER she’s made so known in these lands that inspires such a gaze, but rather something that now seems much more a mere natural FORCE between them, a law of which their worlds simply abide. like how the GLIMMERING tides lean and pull, how they muster themselves TALLER and closer in yearning for the moon, soft and ethereal and gleaming of otherworldly silver. 

       he smiles as he rises from his seat, wandering near, but WITHHOLDING touches not permitted regardless of how they may BURN under fingertips. head cants slightly, hands clasped behind his back, a gesture both proper and even a touch bashful in the observant eye. 

      “   perhaps i may be greedy at times, but what is LOVE when there is satiation?   ” he questions, all words of a foolishly poetic heart coming forth. he’s learned with time to properly EXPRESS it, and he reaps REWARD as their embraces intertwine, her warmth washing gently over him as he brushes a golden tendril with a satisfied GRIN. “   i would have any MOMENT you could spare, naturally. unfortunate that things don’t always work such ways, hm?   ”
