Today without warning I received this in my inbox:

It has come to our attention that you have been removed from the list of moderators due to inactivity in the chat, as well as inactivity in completing mod duties and absence. This message is being sent to inform you of this decision. We will have to let you go, deepest condolences from the Punsicle team!

Deepest condolences? I'm sorry but what the fuck. I'm not trying to sound high and mighty or snooty or entitled but I was a moderator in Punsicle Mafia since it was made. I as friends with everyone there and it was fun and we had a great time. Then school started and I wasn't able to be online much at all, which happens to everyone. But now that schools almost out I've been coming back; at first I was a little put off because a lot had changed and I wasn't even in the veterans section on the tumblr page but I talked to one of the newer mods and I got moderator status back a little and so I just went with the flow from there. But now out of nowhere I get this message? How am I supposed to feel when I had been there since the beginning and was watching our little group grow and after I came back again I was  SO HAPPY to see just how big it had gotten. I was meeting all of the new people and reuniting with the old people and it was fun. But then this? So after I got this I messaged Ink; and Ink I love you to death and I'm sure you're just busy and I have no hard feelings for you; and was told that a moderator meeting was held recently and it was decided that they were changing the mod list. I was never informed of a mod meeting. No one messaged me on tumblr or on skype. What kind of mod meeting was that if not all the mods were told about it? And who were you all to make that kind of decision without informing all of the mods? I'm sorry if this sounds rude but it sounds to me like people were just being selective and that hurts. It legitimately hurts and I'm sitting here typing this out with tears coming to my eyes because I know you are all great people and I hate to think that you would do something like that. And to address specifically the reason given for your 'condolences' that I am no longer a mod, that I was inactive in the chat, are you referring to my attempt at returning after school started slowing down as being inactive? Are you referring to the past week where I have been sick and in bed trying to rest because I can hardly speak my throat is so raw from coughing? Yet you messaged me to say 'Our deepest condolences you are no longer a mod even after you were for so fucking long and we aren't even going to give you the time of day to say where you've been' rather than 'Hey Kaylee whats up haven't been in the chat in a while, are you still interested in being a mod? 'Cause if you are you need to be in here more.' to which I would have gladly explained what was going on and come into the chat more often.

So sadly because of the way this was handled I regretfully inform you guys that I no longer feel like I'm welcome in the chat and because of that probably won't be coming back even though I looked so forward to rping with everyone this summer.
