So that Bruce and Nat was forced and it really grinds my gears that Clint suddenly has family yet through out the films he seems to always be on base somewhere. When did he have time for this??? Honestly all of the romance sub plots were forced and there was nothing behind him and that's what ruined AOU
Yeah tbh what I’m pissed about most in regards to the romance was that there is a precedence in the mcu in that everything has a set up and a build, sometimes that cross individual films and even franchises. What had been previously established as a set up in regards to romance was completely abolished to make room for hasty, half fleshed plotlines and a payoff that didn’t feel earned.
Also Nat is and should be written as so much more than a love interest so to see her pining away for a lot of the film was disappointing.
