The basic concept is that the two daycare attendants (Sun and Moon) were rebranded and repurposed as punk rockstars in an attempt by the company to target and profit off of an older audience. This includes the rest of the Glamrocks as well. In the process of the rebranding, the two of them had a “complete” memory wipe of their past as the DCAs and had reprogramming done so they would act better suited for the punk vibe they were being attuned to. (They still have very faint recollections about their past lives but are unaware of what actually went down)
While the main Glamrocks still perform at the Plex, Sun and Moon act as traveling performers who go on tours and perform at various locations. They are transported via tour bus and have the highest risk of being damaged or stolen compared to the other animatronics, so the company keeps a very tight leash on the two of them. Meaning they have very little free will/privacy and most of their actions are dictated by the company and their security.

You’ve very likely never seen me around before, but I saw your previous blog and art a couple years or so ago.
Happy to see you back! Hope the return is fulfilling. I always loved your art of Sun and Moon, though admittedly cowardly to interact before haha.
I have some questions to ask now that I have some courage, They are multi-part questions that go hand in hand, one after the other.
1. Do either of them like reading? Movies? Moon probably reads, Sunny.? A little more unlikely I think. But I bet he would enjoy TV
If they have any way to access these things, of course. If not, then a theoretical
What genre of books or shows would they enjoy most?
2. If Fantasy of any kind at all catches either of their interest, what about it do they find fun and interesting?
3. Would they like Dragons, (or other Mythological creatures; Unicorns, Griffins, Manticore’s, Phoenix’s, etc etc) Important question, trust
4. If they could have any magically enchanted animal as a sort of, Familiar as they are often called, what would they choose?
Doesn’t have to be any ordinary animal, it could very well also be a sort of mythical creature! Or even an extinct creature! Just an animal that they like

Ooo okay! This one's gonna be a bit of a doozy:
1. What kind of genre of books/movies/shows would they enjoy most?
Right on the money, actually lol. Moon reads, Sun prefers to watch films and TV shows, though the two of them don't get much material to cycle through. The company does give the two somewhat of an allowance for them to buy things, so Sun has a small collection of DVDs (and a few VHS) that he will watch from time to time. He prefers older films, and is fascinated by vintage movies like The Wizard of Oz. He loves musicals, and romcoms. For TV, I think he would unironically really enjoy Seinfeld lol. Friends is one he'd watch a lot of too. Moon wouldn't be much for TV, but theres a few films he'd come back to. He enjoys B-list horror movies a lot. Gets a kick out of laughing at how bad they are and the stupidity of the characters. He definitely leans more towards action and mystery films. He *loves* the Matrix movies...
For literature, Moon likes biographies. Reading about people's lives and their accomplishments. Most of the ones he's read have been on famous artists and musicians. Billy Joel is one of his favorites. Maybe the occasional murder mystery or thriller story too. He would *pour* over a Sherlock Holmes book if he had one. Sunny prefers to read magazines, but he does *really* really like the Percy Jackson books. He would get absolutely hooked on the Twilight books if he had any lmao.
2. Fantasy?
None of them have been really exposed to that genre besides what they occasionally read/watch. I feel like Sun would get absorbed into Dungeons and Dragons if he ever played. Same thing with the Lord of The Rings or Harry Potter. He'd get sucked in so fast lol. Moon is a little indifferent to that genre, I think. Doesn't hate it, but doesn't get pulled into it like Sunny would. I think he would find Renfairs to be fun though.
3. Mythical creatures?
Yes. Sun would like them all I think, lol. He'd favorite the phoenix though. Moon would adore dragons and griffins. If cryptids count, Sun would be a MASSIVE mothman fan.
4. Familiars?
Sun's would be a ferret. Moon's would be a magpie :)
Hii I just found your account today and I LOVE your art and concepts!! So my question is... if you had to choose a band to represent the music they play, what would it be?? Have a good day/afternoon/night :]
I think they take a LOT of inspiration from bands like Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, and Green Day. Though their own personal vibes are a bit different. Sun is a lot more of that classic punk sound while Moon is a bit more rock/metal. You'll see when I finally get their playlists finished lol.
They would know ahead of time, though I doubt there would be a scheduled meeting. And the initial arrival of the bot would be very rushed.
The two of them would be walking backstage on their way to go through their usual mic checks or general maintenance a few days before a show, and they’d just… see another bot there. Getting tuned in and tested. They’d heard word of a new member joining them, but they certainly didn’t think the rumors were true…
They’d share worried glances with each other before Sunny would put on a strained smile and walk up to give a warm greeting to the new bot, while Moon would hang back, staring daggers at them from the shadows.
That’s how I’d imagine their first meeting would go, at least.

“Management” is by all means the villain of this AU. They’re a very powerful, money-hungry company that cares very little for their robots, and even less for their employees. They barely even see their animatronics as beings. Just money-making tools for them to exploit and control however they want.
These boys are trapped. In every sense of the word. They’re kept on an incredibly tight leash. Every single thing about their lives is dictated by Fazbear Entertainment. And they hate it.
Like, they love their work. They love their fans with all their heart & soul. But my god they would drop it all in a heartbeat if it meant freedom.
They themselves haven't won any awards, but their creators definitely have. The people behind their "punk rock" rebranding and programming have received praise for how well both of the animatronics have performed, and how much money they earned for the company. Nothing has ever been given to Sun & Moon though, as far as awards go.
There is Spotify in this world, yes! I'd say they cap out at around 2 million listeners. Not considered the highest amount when it comes to their competition, but its still nothing to scoff at.
