Finalized this Star Wars fan prop build of Rey’s NN-14 blaster. This was my first big prop project using Creality’s Ender 3 Pro 3D printer, Fusion 360 for CAD, and Cura for slicing the CAD file into GCode. The verdict? I should have been 3D printing years ago. As a concept artist and engineer, 3D printing just literally opened up the world to what type of jobs I could specialize at and pursue. I’ve always fought the idea that I had to be one or the other, but now I feel like the art and science are truly becoming seamless. Thanks for the support everyone and I’m off to my next project.
