Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C and line a muffin tin with paper liners. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients and use a pastry cutter or fork to cut it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs. In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the dough should be slightly lumpy. Spoon the muffin batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
