A new Pumkin-Imp is almost done, and I've named all three of these guys, with the help of my art buddies, @raybrownpencil and @marleyturned at our Tuesday art lunch! The tall worried guy is Gourdon, the short dude is Squash, and the mischievous fella in between is Jack-o. Together they are the Trickster Trio! They and the other Pumpkin-Imps get into all sorts of trouble in the Autumn when the pumpkins start showing up in stores for pumpkin carving. Most folks don't know it, but these Imps are actually the source of the compound that we humans call "Pumpkin Spice," which they expel as a waste product. Years ago, Gourdon's mom and dad were abducted by a major coffee company and forced to "make the spice" full time, and have been cloned on a massive scale to satisfy the inexplicable but extreme human demand for the substance. When they're not getting into Halloween mischief, the Trickster Trio search for Gourdon's parents. Imps by black light, then glowing, and then as faux gummy candy (unpainted casts in normal lighting). Pumpkin Imps will get inside and possess your jack o’ lantern if you don’t take proper care of it, and they also get up to plenty of mischief after Halloween has passed, too! A house with an Imp infestation should take extra precautions around Thanksgiving as well, since Imps have been known to reanimate thawing thanksgiving turkeys just for giggles. Long time no update. 😬 I’ve been in a bit of a slump and I needed some down/hermit time. I’m feeling better now, though! For a while, I was pretty sure my air compressor had kicked the bucket, but thankfully it’s still trucking along. Still working on getting my store updated, should have the Pumpkin Imps up sometime this week(I’ll make an announcement).
