2. Is there any specific ritual you go through while/before/after your writing?
as far as rituals go I donāt really have any?? I think the closest I have to a ritual is that I put my ipod on my āpump upā playlist (which doubles as a workout playlist for one of my ocs BUT) and I turn it on shuffle and I donāt turn it off until Iām finished. mostly I just sit down and go for it.
3. What is your absolute favorite kind of fic to write?
hoo boy, lemme tell ya, I am an absolutely sucker for cheesy romance. I havenāt written a lot of it, but it is definitely absolutely my favorite. I love happy endings, I love comedy, I love cheesy stupid love stories, it gets me every time those are so fun to write
4. Are there any other fic writers you admire? If so, who and why?
smh orion youāre just finishing for compliments are you? so I really admiring your writing bc I am in love with the way you describe things. like everything you focus on carries so much weight and itās so beautiful and I am notoriously awful at descriptions in stories so!!!! I just love it I really admire that.
and!!! shout out to kendall @stebersā who has such an incredible way with words like??? 10/10 any time I read one of her stories there are certain quotes that just stick with me. like Iāll read them and Iāll be like ālisten if this was a real novel someone would have this tattooed on their body already. I would have this tattooed on my body already.ā
5. How many words can you write if you sit down and concentrate intensely for an hour?
coincidentally, I learned this the other day when I was speed writing a draft of my short story for english workshops!! the answer is around 1600. I could probably hit 2000 if I was 100% focused on that instead of also watching a hockey game at the same time.
6. First fic/pairing you wrote for? (If no pairing, describe the plot)
I think technically it was a self insert 1d fanfic???? but weāre not gonna talk about that!!!! so officially, on the record, Iām gonna say the first pairing I wrote for and published onlineĀ was destiel (donāt look at me).
7. Inspiration, time, or motivation. Choose two.
time and inspiration. I can motivate myself to do anything if I try hard enough, soā¦.I would definitely rather have time and an idea first. Iād deal with kicking my own ass into gear when it got to that.
