Ahri was…shocked, to say the least. What a strange boy. She hadn’t ever met someone in such a way. Her eyes scanned the Humans form, he was quite dirty. How could he stand being so filthy so casually? Especially in front of her. “Ah, I…”, she was speechless. Usually, she’d know exactly what to say and how to say it. But…this encounter was so foreign to her. Taking in a breath, she continued. Oh well. Clasping her hands together behind her back, she began eyeing the boy more thoroughly. A small, sweet smile graced her lips. “How interesting.” shapely legs carrying her closer, her voice returned to its normal sultry tone. “Tell me more.”

⋆ — Tell her more? That is so, so not the response he was hoping to get. His eyes are wide, clearly panicked as she steps towards him, oblivious (for now) to the sultry tone of her voice. “Uh,” he stalls, feeling the gems and fragrance pots and jewellery grow leaden in his pockets. “More about...?” His eyes flick between hers, and Ezreal wets his lips nervously. Is she going to get mad at him for tomb-robbing? Probably. There are very few Ionians who take kindly to disturbing the property of the dead.

     “—About my rock?” It’s still clutched in one filthy hand, and Ezreal finally breaks her gaze long enough to unfurl his fingers and glance at it. It’s neat, but...

     “It’s, uh, my mother gave it to me. She’s dead, you see, and...” Something clicks into place in Ezreal’s mind and he looks up as she comes closer. He does a mental tally: Eyes, nose, mouth, hair, ears? ... Shoulders, chest, hips, tail...?

Bridging together the innate magic of the continent with the natives’ phenomenal knowledge and wisdom, the Placidium was the perfect backdrop for Noxian invasions.
