Pulse, formerly known as Agent Siphon, is a henchman of Dr. Inferno, although a little unwillingly. Under her alias Agent Siphon, she was put on jail duty one night with a few other Agents. The prison she was tasked of guarding held none other than the insane doctor himself - Dr. Inferno. However, the prisoners would not remain silent this night, causing a breakout. The agents were forced to defend themselves and try to make sure the prisoners don’t escape. Agent Siphon was granted permission to test her experimental weapon she called ‘Oblivion’ that night, and she was doing fairly well defending herself and her fellow Agents. She had already knocked down a few prisoners, but soon she became overwhelmed by Dr. Inferno’s henchmen and his eventual breakout. She was knocked down, and one of the two ‘Oblivion’ weapons fired off a blast that created a ‘singularity’ in the air, which exploded and took out Siphon’s left eye and the vast majority of the prison’s interior. Dr. Inferno and most of his henchmen survived, and Dr. Inferno ordered his men to take Agent Siphon with them, saying that “she’ll become the perfect weapon in the future.”

Siphon was taken to one of the many lairs Dr. Inferno created, and she was given a replacement eye and prosthetic legs (enhanced sight and movement), but Dr. Inferno wanted to take it a step further - he wiped her memories, giving her false memories and the name of Pulse. Pulse would be just one of the many memory-wiped henchmen he would experiment on. Devoid of emotions from these false memories, she would be a ‘special’ henchman, often tasked on infiltrating high-profile buildings and raiding with higher-ups as a backup/getaway driver. She prefers to keep to herself, only talking to her superiors when they talk to her.

Her ‘Oblivion’ weapon was renamed to ‘Singularity Pulse’ under Dr. Inferno. The Singularity Pulse weapon is a pair of gauntlets that ‘Pulse’ out blasts of energies that vary in strength between blunt and lethal. Singularities occur when there is a small malfunction in a gauntlet or when Pulse combines two pulses together to form a singularity of a certain strength - small (mostly a distraction) to destructive (easily destroying an entire city, similar to a nuke but without the radioactive fallout; nobody knows of this strength). 

Is she aware of other agents? Yes, although through the false memories she views them as enemies of Dr. Inferno. She’ll fight them one on one or as a group, knowing she can rely on the singularities she makes to distract or take down the Agents. 

What series is she from? She’s from the Ultra Agent line, although she goes “MIA” about a day or so after Lux’s transformation into Antimatter, and she isn’t seen in the Ultra Agents series itself being out of Astor City at the high-security prison. 

Will she remember the memories Dr. Inferno replaced? No, those memories are forever lost, but sometimes the henchmen mess up and call her ‘Siphon,’ which she gets rather confused by. In her memories, she actually killed Agent Siphon in a fight.

How are the agents dealing with her disappearance? They’ve set up a memorial with her picture in the ‘Agents MIA’ hall with many other agents who have gone MIA in the past. Post-Ultra Agents, she is still ‘MIA.’ 

Is she a citizen of Astor? Yes, but she moved into Astor after she was accepted into the Ultra Agents. She came from a distant city across the ocean.
