Following their As The Stages Burn! release and their 2014 album War Eternal, Arch Enemy are entering the next chapter of their history with their upcoming 10th studio record Will To Power.

"After many months of writing and recording in the studio we are delighted to have finally completed work on our 10th studio album, ‘Will To Power’. We are looking forward to sharing new music with you soon,” says founder and guitarist Michael Amott. The album will be available to the world come September 8th through Century Media Records and via Trooper Entertainment in Japan.

“‘Will To Power’ will be a bold sonic statement that ARCH ENEMY in this day and age is virtually unstoppable,” promises the long-time band founded in Halmstad, Sweden, currently comprised of Amott, Alissa White-Gluz, Jeff Loomis, Sharlee D’ Angelo, and Daniel Erlandsson.

The extreme metallers also announced their first tour dates for the Will To Power World Tour this year, in which they will be joined by Ukranian band Jinjer:

If you have been catching SUD at gigs lately, you might’ve been hearing a brand new song of theirs, played along with some of their better-known hits (and crowd-favorites) like “Sila” or “Make U Say”.

At midnight last night, the band finally released the studio version of this new song under Warner Music Philippines, and is now up for streaming on Spotify.

The new single, a song for all you sleepless and lovestruck folks, is called “Di Makatulog”. Listen to the track here:

With The Word Alive’s Summer ’17 Tour wrapping up pretty soon, frontman Telle Smith took to Instagram to share his excitement about his upcoming solo material.

“I'm excited to get home and begin working on my 1st solo ep,” said Smith, giving his followers a preview of six songs. Saying that he’s not set on any one genre at this point in time, he shared some clips of himself jamming out to some new tunes with an acoustic guitar.

The past several months, The World Alive has been on tour promoting their latest release Dark Matter. Smith has also hinted that some writing might be done after their summer shows.

Last month, Silverstein announced their forthcoming record Dead Reflection and dropped a new music video for “Retrograde”, one of the band’s new songs.

The band just released another cut off the upcoming album. Premiering on Alternative Press, “Lost Positives” is a track that frontman Shane Told says is the one that had the most changes. “… if you listen to the original demo, it’s a completely different song! It went through a lot of fine tuning, and it was the song we worked on the most. It’s also my favorite song on the record for a number of reasons,” he adds.  

Guitarist Paul Marc Rosseau also adds that it was the first song he wrote for the album, and that he had written it with Steve Brodsky of Cave In and Mutoid Man. Listen to “Lost Positives’ below:
