✚ for a HEALTH headcanon:

Physically, Daphne takes good care of herself. She enjoys exercise because she enjoys her body feeling at its peak, and she especially enjoys really active and aggressive exercise; she eats heartily, but well. With that said, chocolate is her weakness

♕ for a CHILDHOOD headcanon:

Daphne never entirely forgave her mother for leaving. She resented her mother for leaving, her stepmother for driving her mother out, and her father for not fighting for his family—however, while she’ll gladly voice her displeasure regarding her stepmother, she refuses to do so about her mother out of a sense of loyalty, or about her father, out of fear of being rejected by him.

✿ for a HAPPINESS headcanon:

It really doesn’t take much for Daphne to get genuine pleasure out of something: she enjoys putting people in their place, for example, and she’s absolutely tickled when people try to insult her by calling her “bitch”. The thing that makes her happiest, though, is controlled decay: she loves autumn, she loves the smell of dying leaves, and really, if you can bundle her up in a scarf and give her pumpkin flavored anything, she’s a happy camper.

␛ for an ANGER headcanon:

Daphne gets angry frequently, and often times without warning; however, her anger is rarely explosive in any fashion. It usually burns out quickly, after she’s said whatever’s on her mind and moved on. She can hold a grudge like nobody’s business but more often than not it’s simply not worth her time. Notable exceptions to this include hurting Astoria, Blaise, or Pansy.

♆ for a BODY headcanon:

One of Daphne’s favorite pastimes is exploring and pushing her own physical limits. In some instances this is particularly easy, because she has been dancing since she was a child, and her feet bear the proof of that. She has an incredibly high pain tolerance as a result—pushing herself past the point of exhaustion simply to see what would happen is hardly an uncommon occurrence—and tends to live by the idea pain is temporary.

ϡ for a MENTAL STATE headcanon:

In general Daphne was able to avoid a lot of the mental health problems that plagued her sister. Not being involved in the war except as a very casual and largely disinterested observer, she doesn’t experience any sort of post-traumatic stress, as she was able to very easily distance herself from what she saw. She is, however, surprisingly sympathetic to such difficulties.

ღ for a LOVE/SEXUALITY headcanon:

Daphne realized fairly early on that she wasn’t straight. In all honesty, the idea that “not straight” was something that needed specifying didn’t really occur to her until she went to school. She is pansexual, with a marked preference for women both sexually and romantically; with that said, she enjoys sex, and the physical release it brings, and seeks out and enjoys sex with men and nonbinary individuals as well as with women.

† for a RELIGION headcanon:

Perhaps because her sister is surprisingly religious, Daphne has an interest in religion, though she’s not sure where, exactly, she falls in her beliefs. She tends to identify herself as agnostic because it’s not a question that holds a great deal of importance to her; she enjoys the idea of randomness rather than predetermination, and finds comfort in the idea that she is cosmically insignificant.

✄ for a PET PEEVE headcanon:

Regardless of the context, the first time Daphne Greengrass says no should be the last time she is asked. She responds viciously and often violently to what she perceives as coercion, and has no qualms when it comes to publicly humiliating anyone who she deems deserving—usually men who can’t take no for an answer.
