Dude I'm so mad nobody talks about Jack Horner when they do analysis of Puss in Boots 2. Like they'll say they like him and that he's a fun and entertaining villain but they're so distracted by analyzing Death that they never dissect who Jack Horner is supposed to represent: Capitalism, specifically Disney.

Jack Horner has no magic of his own, so he hoards magic items for his own. Like how Disney keeps buying up intellectual property or creates stories based on public domain. He wants to be the sole source of magic in the world and will do anything to get it, no matter how many workers he crushes in the process. Like I'd need to rewatch the movie to go in depth but it's driving me crazy nobody will ever fucking dissect him.
