Hoppy New Year: The puddle frogs are named after the fact that they lay their eggs in puddles. Some species vary greatly in pattern and coloration, making species identification difficult.
Today’s New Friends from Sama Jaya Nature Reserve in Borneo are a pond full of very cute Puddle Frogs (Occidozyga laevis), many beautiful Brown Marsh Frogs (Pulchrana baramica) and a Four-lined tree frog (Polypedates leucomystax)!
