A reminder to myself that i've actually felt happy a couple times during these past shitty months and that i might start feeling better again soon.

I need to vent so I'm writing. These past 3-4 months or so have been tougher than I could have imagined. This past semester of school really knocked the wind out of me and now I'm just trying to cope. I've been through many stressful situations before but this time I think I finally pushed myself too far. I've gotten sick many more times during these past months than I usually do in a whole year. I've developed stomach problems. I've lost my appetite which certainly doesn't help with the stomach pain. I have a hard time going to sleep because of the anxiety that kicks in as soon I try to relax. I can't handle nearly as much as I used to and it feels like I'm on the verge of a breakdown almost 24/7. The most mundane tasks exhaust me quickly. When I try to get my shit together and make an effort it's like I can feel every cell of my being screaming that I can't do it, that I'm worthless and that everyone can see it. I do have happy moments but there's this disturbing, pressing feeling in the back of my mind reminding me of all the things I'm worried about. I'm so afraid of failure that I'd rather not even try. When I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror in the morning I feel like I've aged decades overnight, like I'm an empty shell, or a ghost. I wash my face and scrub it hard just to see some color on my cheeks. It hasn't been this bad for this long before. I just want to sleep and not wake up for a month. Recover. Can't wait for this to be over.
