{✞} Carrie White liked cities. She thought it was a bit strange that she liked them so much, but perhaps it was because she could just fade into the background. Walking down the street, no one cared who you were, what you'd done, or how you got there. You could be brutally murdering someone, and no one would give you the time of day. Carrie liked that. That's not to say she didn't like being noticed, but she enjoyed not bothered. {✞} She walked along a sidewalk in Manhattan, keeping her eyes down and focusing on a Styrofoam cup that was fluttering alongside her. If she stayed focused, it would stay there, prancing along like a small dog on a leash. As she walked along, not paying attention to anything, she slammed into a man walking out of a building (and a rather large one, at that). The cup stopped and was mysteriously crushed as Carrie backed up, apologizing. {✞} "I'm sorry. I--I wasn't paying attention. Sorry, sir..."

[  She hasn't told the boys about her new friend, not yet. And the answer to the question as to why exactly she's kept it a secret from them, Blaze especially, is yet to be anonymous to her. For all they know, they're out for another night of celebration (and maybe to get that new kid laid), if she bumps into said 'Harry' tonight, they'll all brush it off as a weird coincidence. A couple of puns here and there about fate were guaranteed, sure, she could potentially handle that without giving breaking a few noses in reward (or necks, depends on her vision). 

[  She didn't even bother to scan through the crowd, no, she instantly dives in for the bar stool. Looking for him would imply that she's concerned about whether or not he's shown up yet. And frankly? She doesn't care. She can find someone else to buy her a couple of drinks, it's his loss. Or his gain, depending on the point of view you're looking from. ]
