what do you use to make irl gifs, if you dont mind me asking?
I don’t mind! Uh, but I’m no expert, so don’t expect the best advice from me. I spent all Friday trying to figure something out.
First I used some software that turns video into jpg from here, and I use their stuff for other things like music and audio conversion, so I know they’re a pretty legit place—or at least they haven’t caused me any trouble—ANYWAY
When I converted the video (which were just clips I took with my digital camera), I set it to make about 200 frames for a 44 second clip, and 500 frames for a 1:30 clip (it would probably be better to cut the size of your video too, but I was laaaazy)
Then, I picked the frames that I wanted and used this handy gif maker right here to make them into gifs! Without an account you can only use 20 frames for a gif, so they’re pretty short. You can use photoshop too to make gifs, but my photoshop is so old it was more of a pain to try to make it in there than it was using the website.
Then I just set the size to 250x150 and the speed to 100 milleseconds and VIOLA! GIFS!
I hope that was helpful. ;w; I kinda do everything in the jankest way possible, so if you look up better tutorials, I’m sure you can find more helpful info there.
