When Mary became an administrator, Carrion thought all hope was lost in saving her mother. Luckily, two drones had been working in the background to create what is known as the 'stabilizer'. The closest thing the B12 drones would have to a cure. Doe (owned by my BF) created the code, Hotshot created the vessel. Modifying a tank of nanites with the code and setting it into a gun based off the schematics of sky hunter tails. Using this they were able to save Mary and created the 'pseudo solver' drones by accident.
The pseudo solver drones are a class of solver drone born from re stabilized administrators. As stable infected have no need for the coded 'cure'. They in many ways resemble the solver drones themselves, but carrying with them the unique mutations that the unstable code gave them. In Mary's case this resulted in permanent bat like features as well as her flowery tail.
The pseudo solvers don't exactly have the abilities of normal solver drones. Rather, each ability in unique to the code it was created from. In this example, the symbol gained the ability to become a violin. Playing music on this solver violin allows her to use the oily thorn vines as a weapon, as well as directing the actions of other infected drones. More in suggestion than true control, like coordinating a dance. A skill useful in group attacks or defence. though due to it's nature this drains her very quickly and is usually a last resort. (It can be played as a normal instrument as well. This is not as draining)
The tails of pseudo solvers do not carry Cyn's will. The coniousness within them is formed from the memories the mutation code devoured and spat back up. Often times the tail will cling onto someone within the memories who was important, emulating them in the way that the pseudo solver saw said person. In Mary's case, her tail latched onto O. Creating a gentle and loving being as a result.
The tails often have a symbiotic bond with their hosts. And when one can't hold control anymore, either due to stress, exhaustion or otherwise, the tail will take control. Each tail is unique to the pseudo solver and take different approaches to wheel control. But in most cases will prioritize the safety of their host. Whatever form that may take.
The pseudo solver drones carry within them the stabilizing code. Under the right circumstances, this can be used to help other destabilized administrators.
