for my own sanity, i am not good at this two character thing.

what i'm probably gonna do, instead of stressing myself out, is clear out the bulk of tony's inbox with the exception of the new things, and maybe put a few memes in the queue to spit out over the weekend, and that's where you send stuff i can come back to on monday (because i'm not forcing myself to do anything this weekend with how busy it's gonna be) and crack my knuckles and get to work.

and as much as i (obviously) love his canon romance, because it's very chef kiss in every single way-

i'm gonna be real with y'all. writing the same romance 20 times literally does not appeal. it also seems incredibly inpersonal and cookie cutter for the opposite side, so we don't do that here. it is not, as they say, the amanda way. instead, here's how i view shipping (in general and specifically with emmrich).

platonic interaction first is a must! i want to get to know characters through writing with them (amanda, you have to write first-) and bouncing stuff back and forth first. you know, the rp equivalent of playing the getting to know you game. first, obviously, to see if there's chemistry, because it doesn't always work out that way, you know, and i have a few reservations about too large an age gap and stuff like former students that absolutely took a class with him that might derail that quickly.

but secondarily and most importantly, if there is chemistry, i think everybody who gets that far and suffers me to that point deserves a tailored high romance experience fitting to their character. emmrich's gonna emmrich no matter what i do, so the surreal and spooky are baked in, but as observational as this man is, i can't believe if - once things are clearly headed in that direction - he wouldn't have already taken notes on likes, dislikes, and things that go a little further afield than a walk in the memorial garden.

this man is too in love with love, i think, for it to be any other way, and in this house we break the chains of game mechanics and do what we want anyway.

nonbinary- not associated with any specific gender, but still a gender.

Agender- no attachment to gender at all.

no it's not demeaning to refer to me as it/it's. especially since I actively say that I prefer it, but if you are going to use other pronouns for me, please do not use they/them. i don't care if other agender ppl are fine with it, I am not. honestly gives me the same feeling as straight up calling me a girl.

masculine/feminine- these are vibes. not set things like gender.

I don't tend to follow multis with certain muses.

Anthro / furry OCs and characters.

seraphiel is the literal king of the angels. the father to all seraphim. was it forgotten that emily is a seraphim, and therefore his daughter???

for reference, a lot of his characterization comes from the fan creation that is no longer readable, journey to the light .

i have taken this character, said i like him, and decided to write him.

in a base verse, the starting point for any interaction unless discussed otherwise with the respective mun , seraphiel only has ties to the seraphim.

if you don't like that, unfollow button is over there. so is the block option. i'm not dulling my fun with something that is literally not a problem for someone completely uninvolved.
