aw thank you! 💙 so AP stands for Advanced Placement! so its like a hierarchy; you have regular classes, magnet classes, honors classes, and AP classes. you can choose which classes are AP (for example im taking AP studio art, literature, history but the rest of my classes are just honors) and essentially the more you take (and pass with a score of 3 or better) the better it looks on college applications. theyre state provided as well so theres a really important test (AP Exams) at the end of May which you pay $100 to take. its really hard and takes up like 400% of your time but admissions offices like those things
