Frederick settled on a rock, watching the new comers enter hell. They filled in, two perfectly straight lines guarded by demons. Some seemed confused, others seemed happy, and some were crying. He didn’t know why. Hell was amazing to him.
It was an underground city, the surface of the world being dry and hot with burnt up trees and dark red skies. Underground, the rocks were red as well and flickering lights of various colors acted as a sky. The city was massive, likely the size of New York City and still growing. Demons and fallen angels mixed with the general crowd of souls, keeping peace.
Despite what people said, Hell wasn’t all about punishments. There were punishments for the worse offenders, but mostly souls were just thrown together to live out eternity as a human.
Spotting one of the souls he would be mentoring, a rare privilege few souls got anymore, he swooped down, hands easily snatching the albino from the crowd and pulling them up. He flew towards the city silently, wings allowing him to glide on the warm air.
