Fully reassembled my printer. I mixed i2 and i3 parts to make this what I call a i2.5 Prusa. The Bowden setup with the new Bondtech QR extruder should make this printer rock. Also working on an enclosed. I just have rough 3D design so far.

Last night I was able to mount the X and Z axis. It is some much smother now. Also got the unit powered up and functional testing to prove it is all ok passed. Next make a Bowden mount for my ED V6 hotend out of PET and build a enclosure so to trap the heat and as a caring case.

So here are the old and new parts. The yellowed parts are older and made of ABS with PLA bushings. This thing was so dang wobbly I hated them as it would bind up on me all the time.

On the top you see the new white PETg parts I printer at work in the Ultimaker 2 extended. I had to learn openSCAD to mod the parts so I could mount the T nut from the new ACME lead screws. I was trying to do this but the whole was just a little two small. I need to get a Y lettered bit so I can get it to fit. Time for another run to the hardware store. Also the LM800 are mounted on the new X ends witch I hope will make the ride much smoother.
Printed out my modified x ends for my Prusa i2 so I can use a lead screw. The PET snot was a lot but it is super strong.
What is shaken peeps. Long time since I lasted posted, but only because school takes priority over hobbies. Since I am on winter break, I got time. I present to you a homemade extruder to be used on my prusa i2. I try to used as much of the existing parts from the extruder to build this new one. I used aluminum for the cooling portion with a PTFE liner pushed in about 0.5 inches from the top. Sadly I cannot do much right now because the wires to the thermistor and heater cartridge broke off...
