Pruma is a planet where the rain falls for years at a time, stripping away the land’s soil surface until all that’s left is the solid rock of the mountains, which with each passing year too faces the seemingly never ending erosion.
Against all odds, life does exist on this planet. More unusually so, the primary life forms to call this planet home are burning leos who have adapted to eat bits of lithium outcrops. By processing the lithium in their bodies they convert it to a state in which, upon coming into contact with water, becomes highly flammable.
But it wasn’t long before NME set its sights on the planet for its ores and the power Nightmare could achieve if he got these powerful burning leos to work for him. He invaded the wet and stormy world, capturing and killing many of the natives and setting up several outposts. It’s one of these outposts that grew bored, the endless rain meant they were stuck inside most of the time.
So they devised a plan, creating the Pruma Gladiator Arena. What started as simply a couple demonbeasts being fought back and forth for kicks was taken and evolved into lawless fight club by an employee by the name of Cielo, it soon drew in a cutthroat community of criminals and traffickers who’d come to enter and bet on their ‘fighters’.
Cecily was one such fighter, eventually clawing her way up to the rank of champion.
