i should specify that by cryptid i mean the more “non-humanoid” creepypastas, or the ones that might be classified as animals. the slenderbros for example wouldnt be here because theyre just not part of this group. yeah, my creepypastas have cliques lol

mr widemouth is the only creepypasta im keeping as exclusively targesting children, only because he’s really, really bad at it. Most of his antics end up with maybe the child needs therapy or a hospital visit to stitch up wounds (still bad but almost never ending in death) and ONLY because he’s very easily puntable. he’s like, only slightly larger than a furby and is just as light. nobody really knows where he came from as he’s pretty young as far as the nonhuman creepypastas go. jeff speculated he’s some type of fucked up haunted furby, though. I’m inclined to agree. he is good for jumpscares though, being so light and small. he’s not allowed near sally or ben because he’s verbally nasty towards them and is enemy of the splendy. seedeater gets along well with him (ONWARDS MIGHTY STEED). smile does not (GET OFFA ME YOU STUPID MUTT)

seedeater is still a raccoon. still just a creature. theyre probably the most animalistic creepypasta there is, only barely able to say a few words and most inclined to fuck off on their own and was the one to bring EJ into the fold. they’d actually found baby EJ and somehow raised him successfully(?) enough until he was old enough to start figuring stuff out on his own. seedeater will obey ANY commands so long as food is involved. seedeater is also notoriously hard to kill. they have been seen losing entire limbs and having them back only hours later. they’re about waist height on all fours, and are absolutely bony underneath their mane. they loafs

smile’s pupy. He’s ALSO waist-height, with the added bonus of being bulky. he’s very mild-mannered and can talk to others psychically but doesnt talk to humans (other than jeff) due to the corrosive properties he has on them. nobody knows why Jeff’s immune. smile loves jeff very much. there is no real hierarchy in the creepypasta circle but somehow smile is in charge of most of the cryptid pastas. sometimes he arranges meetings between the cryptids and an uninvolved creepypasta will walk in and have like 10 creatures staring at them until they fuck off. smiles.. smile, does look about as cartoony as i draw it. there’s no defined lips and it doesn’t really look like it can open. nobody’s seen smile open his mouth either (ignore if ive drawn it before)

BOB is fast and exclusively hangs out wtih the other “cryptids”. they completely ignore anyone not in their little group, and is very much in platonic wuv with momo. BOB is completely nonverbal except for wordless yelling and is scary fast. He’s physically strong, too, easily able to mow through fences if he decides not to hop them, though he easily gets caught in barbed wire fences (no hands to untangle them :(  ). 

momo’s very amicable and can talk normally. she’ll be friendly enough when the human group wanna hang out but only really seeks out the other cryptids. she’s very fond of BOB and can often be found hanging off his shoulders since she’s not very fast. she doesn’t really understand that taking other peoples stuff is wrong, even when told repeatedly and will often steal blankets/pillows/food to make nests with and eat. she’s a cuddle bug :3

eyeless jack is an honorary cryptid because of seedeater, and sometimes hangs out with his “dad/mom/parent” during cryptid-only gatherings. he’ll come with if they need someone to open doors sometimes 

the rake, aka “honey badger but it looks like a fucked up old man kind of”. they’re VERY anti-touchy unless they initiate the touch and likes to ride on seedeaters back (theyre fluffy). they’ll give the same treatment to smile sometimes but smile likes to hang out with jeff and jeff likes to try to push the rake off. jeff does not like sharing smile >:(. the rake can talk albeit weirdly, their jaw/mouth is only just capable of speaking hoomantalk, and so they have to repeat themselves sometimes. you know the rake likes you when they decide to play koala on you. depending on your size, this can be very impeding.
