Who are you excited to see go pro and where do you think/want them to play?
I am excited to see what happens with Jessie Fleming. Her career had already been so interesting and I think the next phase is going to be great to watch.
Selfishly, I hope she goes to the NWSL so I can watch her but she seems better fit for euro leagues.
USWNT VS COSTA RICA LINEUP
I just want to see Alana Cook have some playing time (my guess is left or right Back). I have to imagine Vlatko wanted a better look at her in action to make her trip from France worth it for her (overall exhaustion and time away from PSG).
I was also excited to see if club team success would transfer to national team.
Lynn Williams, Sam Mewis, Abbie Dahlkemper from NCC - saw this warming up but they didn’t have enough time to get a rhythm.
Casey Short, Julie Ertz from Chicago Red Stars - I was hoping to see this more with Davidson too so this wasn’t much to see for me with these connections. On their own, Short and Ertz played amazingly.
Rose Lavelle, Andi Sullivan, Mal Pugh from Washington Spirit - I know Sullivan is capable of being a beast in Midfield but she might not get enough time to shake off the nerves AND show her skills.
What are you expectations for this game in regards to Vlatkos thought process?
