A year ago, on #Pride weekend, I participated in @frfwchicago #ProudToRun 2019 in their first #halfmarathon, probably one of the biggest, most public ways I've ever participated in Pride. Being #bisexual (both of us) in a straight-passing relationship is awkward at times. On #NationalComingOutDay, I want to give a shout out to my friends all over the #LGBTQIA spectrum, in and out of the closet. Ran 7.96 km with #Nike⁠ #Run Club a nice 30 minute #GoWithMo Farrah to finish #Pride2020, plus an extra lap around the park because I was at the entrance and I felt good and Mo was so encouraging! I started the weekend with @thechrismosier , ran my own #ProudToRun #halfmarathon, and finish the month doing judo tonight. Ran 21.12 km with #Nike⁠ Run Club doing my own #ProudToRun #halfmarathon, in my race tee and shiny nails to celebrate #Pride2020. It's not so easy a) not on the lake, b) not as early in the morning (#humidity, ugh!), and c) without the amazing support crew of Frontrunners/Frontwalkers Chicago (@frfwchicago) and all the folks cheering.
