Unity and Resilience Flow Through Taquen’s Gestural Compositions
Hey guys I have started a goal on my kofi. I wish to be home for the holidays. I'm starting early to give myself enough time. If you need any artwork please consider commissioning me! I do emotes, and portraits.

Way too many Catras- 27 Catra headshots
After a whole lot of referencing and coloring and shading, it’s finally done! 27 drawings of Catra. Took about 35 hours to complete, and it was done over the course of about 22 days. Some screencap re-draws, I think this made great practice for expression drawings, including the eye study (top left corner)! It’s not perfect, (exact proportions aren’t too consistent) but I’m pretty happy with how it came out! ^w^

I was struggling to write sentences this week so instead of a comic there is a small zine. Six Drawings of Celia Johnson. Thanks as ever to the beautiful patrons. There is a printer friendly version and cut/fold instructions for the zine at the end.
"Standing on a tropical beach, in the moonlight, with the palm trees sighing above us. Then the palm trees changed into those pallided willows by the canal, just before the level crossing. And all the silly dreams disappeared. And I got out at Ketchworth and gave up my ticket and walked home as usual. Quite soberly and without wings. Without any wings at all."
Happy birthday to English painter Thomas Gainsborough. Gainsborough was the leading portraitist of eighteenth-century English society. His brilliantly applied paint, elegant costumes, and the wit and sophistication with which he endowed his sitters ensured him a steady stream of clients. “Portrait of Lady Rodney [née Anne Harley],” around 1781, by Thomas Gainsborough "Portrait of Miss Elizabeth Linley [later Mrs. Richard Brinsley Sheridan]," around 1775, by Thomas Gainsborough "Portrait of John Palmer," around 1775, by Thomas Gainsborough "Portrait of a Lady in a Blue Dress," around 1783–85, by Thomas Gainsborough
I got some new brushes from https://twitter.com/MaxUlichney and I AM LOVING THEM. At the moment, I'm practicing using them by drawing portraits of family members. Here is my precious Abuelo. <3
