New brand Proto-col have caught my eye with their baked mineral products and sturdy brushes. I've been testing out the products this week and much like the Mulberry Eyeshadow I reviewed in early March  (here) the quality and pigment and product make this brand worth checking out.
First up is the Baked Mineral Shimmer "Apricot Swirl" dubbed by beauty bloggers as the next best thing to Mac's much coveted and Stereo Rose Mineralize Skin Finish this cheek blush gives a very beautiful not too obvious hew of colour. Like most mineral baked products you can apply this wet for an intense sheen (mua take note). These retail at £27.95 & you can purchase them here.Â
Next I have been trying out the equally gorgeous Baked Mineral Foundation  in "Dover" . Despite it's glowy appearance I was surprised to find the product went on semi-matte with a medium coverage *yay*. I'm not sure how large their colour range will become but this suited my skin perfectly and I'm quite fair. The ingredients look pretty amazing too with Jojoba, Green Tea, Rosemary and Lavender extracts = Soothing!Â
I was happy to find out that Proto-col also make brushes and was really impressed with the quality and feel of their "Large Blusher" brush which works beautifully with the Baked Mineral products and other makeup :Â
I will certainly be keen to try out more brushes from their full set -  New brushes make me a very happy bunny! :) Their brushes are animal cruelty free made with synthetic material instead of animal hair. The full brush set cost £49.95 which you can buy here !Â
More reviews and a product of the week coming soon! Keep posted!Â
