Alexa Demie as Maddy Perez wears shimmer and glow liquid eye shadow in “Vivid Sapphire” by Stila Cosmetics and Mac chromaline in “Marine Ultra”
I have the Stila and Rare Beauty liquid eyeliner pens. Stila has a felt tip and the Rare Beauty is a beautiful soft brush tip. They're both north of $20 but they feather and bleed. I have tried all of the tricks to help the product settle and dry but I have no idea. These formulas are trying to run away from my eyes and smear all over my face smudging my foundation.
On the other hand Nyx eyeliner is fantastic and easy to work with, plus it's half the price. I've noticed a lot of higher end makeup isn't worth the sticker price. What's with that? I've found dupes for practically every expensive product I've wanted and the dupes perform better. Am I missing something?
