Amity & Kent
Amity let her green eyes scan over the text message that she had just received from Kent, detailing an address of his place. She could only imagine that the wealthy child of an even wealthier man wasn't exactly living in squalor, and she knew he was going to highlight the fact during the night. He was a nice enough guy, so she really wouldn't pay any mind to it. She tugged on a black dress that she found lying around in her closet, figuring she hadn't worn it in awhile, why not try it out? After slipping on some gladiator sandals and grabbing her bag, she left her place, locking up behind her. A taxi cab ride later, she was at Kent's place, and just like she suspected, it was pretty damn nice looking from the outside. She really wasn't used to being close to anywhere this nice.
Time stuff.
All of it was really... different. There seemed to be no direct concept of time. Either it was moving way too slowly for the young lad's liking, or too fast for him to keep up. Link didn't like it at all. There was way too much pressure on just his own shoulders. Save his sister, save the princess. Find the shards, get the sword. How can he possibly do that before the world was in ruin? There was that oh so persistent feeling that he would fall to the ground, failing his mission. He had made a ton of mistakes, some nearly costing him his life. The Hylian was afraid at one point there would be no return from the Hero of the Winds.
Thankfully, this point in the mission was stuck in a time lock, so he could do whatever he pleased, for now. Eventually he would need to face up to his responsibilities, but for now all he faced up to was his glass of milk. He had traveled very far from home, to a place with tall buildings. It was weird, but he liked it. The people were less than nice, and the currency was different, but someone apparently thought his rupees were really valuable, or something, so he was able to get some foreign money. Using it, he bought a glass of milk at the only place he could find selling. Some store called 'Cafe Corner'. Odd name.
