Posy felt her heart beating in her ears as a man held a gun to her head, she closed her eyes tightly when she saw him pull the trigger and waited for the pain, but none came. She opened her eyes when she heard someone fall to the floor and felt her heart drop when she saw who it was," C-Carl?" She crawled over to him and held him in her arms, " Why?" Posy asked as tears came to her eyes, she didn't notice that her brother Gale shot the man and came over to her, " You idiot! Why would you do that?" She sobbed and held him close, putting her hand over the bullet wound trying to stop the blood, " You have to keep breathing okay? You have to." Gale put his hand on Posys shoulder, " Posy he is dying, we have to-" Posy pulled away from him and held Carl protectively, " No! He's not dying! He is not..." But he was and she knew it, but she didn't want him to leave her, " Carl, listen you can't die, we need you, Judith, your dad, and the rest of the group need you." Posy said as her tears fall, " Carl we love you...I love you." She rested her forehead against his, " Please don't leave me here...I need you."
