The Bedford Case

According to The New York Times, the Brooklyn district attorney, Charles J. Hynes, has said that condoms will no longer be considered evidence of prostitution by his office--which means police have no reason to confiscate them. Considering that condoms are the only form of contraception that prevents STIs, we'd say (um, this was kind of a no-brainer, but nonetheless) good call, Brooklyn!
