"saying it's jUsT fIcTiOn doesn't change anything it's basically the same as getting hard for real children because otherwise you wouldn't engage" your lack of ability to separate pixels and fake words from real living breathing things is astounding and the main difference between us. Not to sound like I'm being a "better than you" pick-me but like. I can very easily look at content like that and NOT want to touch a real child, I do it literally every day. It isn't difficult.

And I know people hate that narrative, the idea of lumping things like inc*st in with queer spaces; and I am not saying they belong to the same category, persay. But I think that ships like this and like ElsAnna are important to people because it was a safe fictional way to come to terms with relationships that society considered taboo.

It's like jumping into a pool headfirst instead of wading into it to try to get used to the cold. Wading into it can be uncomfortable, and you may give up halfway through. But if you go in the deep end, get into it deeper than you really *need* to, then it makes the shallow end easier to traverse and accept.
