He was new here. Quite new. He barely knew anyone, had only just started to get to know his roommate, couldnβt name more than two places on the mainland, and definitelyΒ didnβt know which places he should not stick his nose into.
So in a way, it made sense that heβd end up cornered at knife point in a seedy part of town.Β
Theyβd have to do more than threaten him in order to get him to feel even a pinch of fear, but he knew this was bad. He chatted lightly, played dumb, did what he could in order to convince them that he was no threat, but these goons seemed a little too... stupidΒ to get the message. Aggressiveness and lack of intellect were never a good combination.
Jade eyes scanned past the three men, looked over to the entrance of the alley. He had to think of something else... and then something else walks by. The gears turn and he grins before giving the stranger a too-friendly call.
