She descends the great stone stairs deftly, an easy feat when her feet don’t touch the ground. Only the very end of her gown traces the ancient masonry, dragging at leaves undisturbed since the change of seasons. Her puzzle, it seems, is no longer solitary. She nods to Strange as she reaches his level, the movement sending a ripple through the hair that continues to float about her.
These petty tricks have been earned through careful study and application. If the greater mage will scoff at them, then he’s hardly himself.
Still, she puts the thought far from mind, peering over her shoulder at the shattered gateway on its high dais. “It seems of Aesir make, but I can’t understand the particulars, nor certain... deviations.” More than the fallen stones and creeping moss that have made the old design nothing more than an enduring ruin, there is a variant to this ancient work. “The location, too -- I don’t know why Latveria would have meant anything to them.” Sheepish, she grins down at the Sorceror.
“I was hoping you might be able to help me, in some way.”
