Dr. Cheston Cheadle’s son Val is extraordinary. He possessed an extraordinary mind and an extraordinary skill. Placed on the autism spectrum Val naturally excelled at everything but people. After hopeless attempts at communicating Val decided that he no longer needed to make friends at school because he could make one at home. One that would never force him to do anything he was unsure of. One that would understand him even when he couldn’t find the words. One that could calm him when his emotions got to be too much. One that he could turn off when he wanted to be alone but would always be there so he would never have to be alone.
