koteczek propaganda <3 aint she a koteczek. no other word can express it

you cannot tell me they are not the perfect word for a kitty cat. they came up to us and introduced themselves, so we decided to call them by the name they call themselves, and in mandarin, we call them "little māo" because they are our little meow meows!! they are our babies!!

also chinese is Ancient. our writing system goes back like 4000 years!! and we are still using it! i admit we probably weren't calling them 貓 for all these 4000 years but respect your elders! /lh

its just such a nice word to say. ko-(hard k) cuuuur (c is like the ts in puts (something on the table) and the r is made with your tongue on the top of your mouth, vibrating a bit

ko-cúr so nice. so pleasant to say.

both parts already mean “cat” on their own, the repetition is added for maximum kittycat cuteness. also insanely fun to say

for example, asl mimics as whiskers, as does russian, german, danish, and british sign language!

meanwhile, finnish, swedish, spanish, chilean, and others use a petting motion!

italian and japanese use claw and paw motions respectively :]

asl is the one submitted, but you could theoretically make a whole tournament with just signed cats, they're very unique and lovely
