Happy 5th Anniversary, Frozen II!!

Proposal – Revisited It is too easily dismissed how important this topic is to the operation of our existence. Time is not racist, it is not bias. Time does not consider your wealth. Time is experience by each and every one of us, and in reality time does not really care who, where or when you are.

The way in which I will explore time photographically, is through the essence of emotion. It is said that photographer’s first response of photographic imagery was for that of capturing the moment. Throughout my series I plan to explore just this.

I will photograph the many facial expressions used to display the emotions felt in that moment.   Through my photographs I want to portray emotions, and the way these change so commonly, and at times so drastically. Whether these emotions be towards a type of clothing, a particular food, a friend a partner or a lover, it is the way, given time they are typically expected to change.

This change is very rarely seen at one single point of time. With inspiration from Artist models Laurie Simmons and Melissa Cowan, I will explore the portrayal of multiple expressions through one single image. And the way these expression are displayed by the different faces that hold them.
