A/N. Some very light angst but i hope you enjoy Anon! I did both prompts for you!
Bakugo was having a bad day, everybody saw it . Monoma was really getting on his nerves and when someone got on Bakugo’s nerves he lashed out. But today was different. Instead of yelling at the cheeky blond he just shoved his hands in his pockets walking past him going down the hallway. No one knew what to make of this , not even you.
You decided to follow him and see if you could get him to open up, it was unlikely .. but it did not hurt to try. You found him in the lunch room sitting by himself and aggressively digging into his food. You sneaked over but he saw you. His brow twitched and he was squeezing his drink.
“Yes Y/N..?”
You sat down next to him pulling a little magazine out of youre bag . You flipped through it then pointed at a new spicy Ramen bowl.
“This Ramen shop just got a new spicy bowl , i know you like spicy food . Want to hang out after school? We could go try it”
He turned away , his eyebrow still twitching . He was quiet for a few minutes before answering you. He turned back to you talking low and under his breath.
“Fine but can we go tomorrow instead.”
“Oh, sure ! Yeah that works! “
You started to get up when his words stopped you.
“I didint say you have to leave..”
You sat back down feeling really happy. Bakugo asked you about the magazine and you happily showed him it, you read the articles to him and told him how much you liked the little keychains in it . He had asked you where the keychains were sold and you told him thinking nothing of it . He seemed to relax a tiny bit with you around him. He was not yelling or calling you names. Instead he was asking you about the magazine and youre favorite ramen.
When he was done eating though he had gotten up. “Tomorrow meet me at the front gate” he said looking down at you. You gave him a thumbs up and he walked away.
The next day Bakugo was still uneasy but he also looked like he had something on his mind . He did not talk to you much and it made you wonder if he still wanted to hang out.
At the end of the day you were waiting for Bakugo by the entrance just like he wanted you too. You heard heavy footsteps and Bakugo bumped you lightly and dangled something in front of youre face. It was one of the keychains you showed him. He dropped it in youre hands and started walking. You hurried to his side asking him about it .
“Youre the only one who came over to talk to me yesterday . Its a thank you”
You blushed looking down at the keychain. “Thank you Katsu . I love it”
“Yeah well.. Y/N. I was thinking about it and..”
“And?”
“Do you want too. .. come over .. after. Maybe watch a movie. My old hag will be there but she should leave us alone.” His cheeks were a little red
You wanted to jump around in excitement but that might turn him off. Instead you smiled at him and spoke calmly.
“So its a date then?” You asked
“Yes Y/N. Yes or No”
“Yes, a thousand yes’es”
He held his hand out to you and you looked at it dumbfounded.
“What? Im not sweaty right now so..”
You grabbed his hand with both of youres blushing at him. He looked away hiding his blush and you both continued the walk to the Ramen shop.
When you arrived you both decided on a booth and sat down. Bakugo ordered the spicy ramen and you ordered the chicken bowl. He asked you how you felt about UA while you waited for the food. He told you how much Monoma gets on his nerves and how some of the kids in youre class get on his nerves. You listened to everything. Chiming in when he got to angry or upset over something. You assured him that everything was okay and sometimes high school is just like that.
“Katsu, do you feel like you have no one to talk to about this? Do you think it means youre weak to talk about stuff? “
The food was put down and Bakugo did not look at it. He was staring at you.
“So what if i do?”
“well You said yourself , i was the only one who came to talk to you yesterday right? Whenever you need someone to talk to Katsu, im here okay? No matter what time it is”
Bakugo grabbed his bowl getting up, you jumped watching him , he went to youre side of the booth sitting next to you, he wrapped a arm around yours and dug into the Ramen not saying anything. You leaned into him and finally dug into youre Ramen.
Bakugo was a little quiet on the walk to his house, he still held youre hand of course though. When you got to his house Bakugo took you to his room and told you to pick a movie . You put youre bag down and looked through all his movies. Bakugo went to his bed looking at it then over at you. He looked back at it and sat down. You picked a movie putting it on and went to join him.
“Y/N.. can i hold you..”
“Sure Katsu.”
You scooted closer into his open arms and he wrapped them around you laying down. His arms wrapped around youre waist you snuggled up with him placing youre hands over his and enjoyed the movie.
Bakugo had fallen asleep at some point during the movie . Every now and then he would squeeze you in his sleep. You quietly turned around to see his sleeping face. Gently you kissed his cheek and nuzzled youre head into his chest and put his arm around you closing youre eyes.
“Night Katsu.”
