Fun facts:
1) Katara is NOT a cheating whore
2) Zuko would NEVER betray Aang in such a heinous manner.
3) Both would choose Aang over the other.
4) Kya is very much Aang's daughter
5) There's nothing your hatred can do to change any of this.

My cover of Chemtrails Over the Country Club by Lana Del Rey but I rewrote the lyrics from Katara's POV. Feel free to use in edits, but please credit me if you do! I plan on making a full video to the song when I get the chance. 💙🧡

Welcome to the Zutara fandom. They've been like this for nearly 20 years. No exaggeration. Some of these people are in yjeor 30's, maybe older? And still act like the children they were when they first watched the show. Sorry you had to go through this, a lot us who like Kataang, Aang, Mai or even just don't worship zuko and zutara have been where you are now.
Quite the name they made for themselves huh.
I genuinely was so shocked to discover this amount of hate when I rejoined the fandom a few months ago. And now I realize these people spend more time in the anti Kataang and anti Maiko tags than in the actual Zutara tag…I find it kinda sad. Especially when like you said, these are grown adults who are spending their time hating on a fictional 12 year old and anyone who dares to disagree with them.
I truly have no problem with Zutara shippers, I really see the appeal and wish them all the best. But this is just some sort of fanaticism. Cause they see their ship as the only right one and will attack anyone who dares to disagree with them.
And it’s the hypocrisy that’s killing me, cause even if you bring up valid points, they will not see logic. Forgiving Zuko for 2 and half seasons of wrong doing (which I did too, I love Zuko) but crucifying Aang for making 3 mistakes because he’s freaking 12? And I’m not even going to speak on their hate towards Mai, that’s just filled with misogyny.
Truly the dark side of the fandom.
Zvtar1ns:The kataang shippers demigrate us!🥺
Also zvtar1ns when they see a post kataang or from another ship that is not theirs:
"The only people who ship kataang are lonely dudes who couldn't woo a girl in middle school."
Quarter of the kataangers being happily married women : say wot now?
Reblog if happily married kataanger

I don't know who needs to hear this but just because Aang doesn't always agree with Katara and has his own opinion and morals, it doesn't make him unsupportive (Reference to "The Southern Raiders" episode, that's a Katara episode but for some reason people use it to bash Aang)
He literally has a brain for a reason, to have his own thoughts and morals, just because he thought Katara was wrong, ir doesn't mean he doesn't understand her trauma. Aang understands grief better than anyone. He's the only survivor of the air nomad genocide, so shut up.
Did Aang annoyed me in that scene? Yes, but that's because I let emotions control the way I think, Aang was logical and much more mature than me, Katara and Zuko combined.
He was scared she will do something she'll regret, but after seeing she can't be convinced to back down, he let her do her thing. Aang didn't try to stop Katara because he didn't want to be friends with a killer. Wrong. He just was concerned about her.
“The Monks Used To Say That Revenge Is Like A Two-Headed Rat Viper. While You Watch Your Enemy Go Down, You're Being Poisoned Yourself.”
Aang: *Banging a pen on the table out of frustration*
Katara: Stop that. How would YOU feel if I banged you on the table?
Aang: I—
Aang: I don't know the correct answer to that question.
