#gratitude Today @saldamando, Bbj, @kokujin2000 and I experienced the legacy of #williebobo.🙌🏾 The 📸/ephemera exhibition, 🔥 tribute by @eric_bobo @rhettmatic #marcuslmiller, #projectworlddrum and the #westadams community were nothing but pure joy w ancestral power. 🙏🏾The 🌟 of this project was Willie Bobo’s wife who worked w @amigeddon and preserved the works and objects of her partner 4 all of these years. So grateful 4 @wgsarts and community-based #art centers in #losangeles bc they serve as a refuge and safe place 4 so many of us. They also serve as our historic and cultural archives for communities of color in Los Angeles.
