sEnte-se (2024)
The project is an urban intervention that combines audiovisual with augmented reality and artistic installation. "sEnte-se" ("take a sEat") seeks to explore the reason behind the placement of benches, observing what kind of invitation can be made to passersby and what is the interest in the specific point of view that each of these urban furniture offers. The title of the project is an invitation to seat on these benches, with the clue of an unexpected element (represented by the capital "e" in "sit"), carrying the idea of displacement or prominence (by turning the letter E 90 ° clockwise, it resembles a backless seat). Thinking about the sensitivity necessary to connect with these public spaces, the title also plays with the double meaning of the phrase, which brings an affirmation of a feeling in the present beyond the invitation to sit.
Below, there are some pictures of the installation opening at the 24th of July of 2024 at the main square of Araçoiaba da Serra (São Paulo state, Brazil).
