āļøItās Lyme Awareness Month! āļø šæEvery weekĀ over 5,769 Americans are diagnosed with Lyme Disease and otherĀ tick-borne illnesses. Most of them neverĀ see a bulls-eye rash, many of them donātĀ even see a tick, but almost all of them struggleĀ to get an accurate diagnosis despite debilitating symptoms and numerous visits to specialists.šæ ā«ļøNon profits like #projectlyme , #takeabiteoutoflyme and #project300k do great work to keep funding research that our government refuses to do! The amount of research that has come out in the past eight years since I was diagnosed has been amazing, and there are no plans on stopping until the CDC sees us and sees Lyme for the life threatening and PREVENTABLE disease that it is.
