#project task 3

- This one took a while to do because I wasn't quite sure how to start it and make it work the way I wanted it to. I also had to make sure it was interesting by using aspects such as exciting angles, perspective, playing with the horizon line, etcetera. It took me a couple of trials to get it right, though I do feel some of the perspectives may be awkward because I began to confuse myself somewhere toward the end. Either way, it was pretty interesting playing around with perspective like that rather than flat, straight on perspective. I think some of the frames look really good, and I did try to fix up some of the other ones that were a bit off but couldn't get them any better than that it seems. It was good practice though. I also decided to use the idea I created with my concept map. So, the storyboard above shows who appears to be Satan with his satanic, demonly decorated suitcase. I had a lot of fun designing that suitcase and basically knew what I wanted it to look like. The first image above was just variations I drew while brainstorming the suitcase. Either way, I used the less spikey version for Satan and his journey. Satan took off from the palace and began his journey; and following the concept map, he goes to the gate, passes it and makes his way towards the Enchanted Forest where God is. The last panel shows the Enchanted Forest way off into the distance to hint that he still has a journey ahead of him and to hint that the forest is definitely his final destination. I thought it would be a fitting end to the storyboard. Overall, it was a nice task to complete. I probably spent a bit too much time on it and added more detail than needed, considering its supposed to be just a story board. However, the sketches are still quite rough and either way, it was a fun activity. Lastly, Satan is a demon but in this he has a human-like figure and so this storyboard concept shows his journey with his suitcase.
