🏙️team mission! 🏙️ i haven't drawn these ocs in a while so i felt inspired to do that... i've had these guys for so long its kinda crazy some older art & yap below the cut ⬇️

(Finally gonna start drawing them with heights in mind, cause I haven’t up until this point hansksnwnskmens-) (you all need to stop saving horses- and save ingo- cause that poor man’s gonna get his back broken in every way possible one of these days-)

Ah yes, Gaeric. The same man who wrestles Avaslush for fun, refuses to wear a shirt or a poncho(taking advantage of the “thick hide” he has). And somehow even befriended a… Abnormally large one. Though if you’d like more charcater info I’d read the little infographic I made :3. It made me laugh really hard writing it- I very much love this au with all my heart and have put hours and hours of research into it! So I hope you all like it so far!

I can't believe I haven't heard of this until now. I went back and watched a lot of the progress videos from this guy and it's great seeing all the work getting done so consistently and for so long. 

The source code is available on GitHub, so I ended up digging a bit through the code because I was curious to see it’s really cleanly written. Most notable to me was that he went for a UE4 inspired Pawn/Controller system too. After messing with UE4 some more I've been considering formalizing that approach in Unity because it's a really great built in concept of Unreal Engine. Those kinds of things are I think the greatest strength of the engine.

(I honestly think that the Hisuian Avalugg design Sucks- so I just remade it for the Lonestar Project-)

A new Pokémon has appeared in the Alabaster Glasslands! The rock Ice types Avaslush and Calmite!

Scavengers by nature, Avaslush and Calmite travel the Glasslands at night, in search of left over bones that had been eaten clean in the day time! Calmite lacking actual teeth, use their internal body temperature to brittle the bones before cracking them open with their rocky tooth like structures on their face. While Avaslush simply crack them open with their powerful jaws!

Avaslush and Calmite bury themselves underground in the day, to avoid the harsh heat of the Glasslands. Avaslush’s horns and back spikes sticking out from the sand making them appear as if they were left over bones themselves. Using their strong spoon like feet they can push themselves blindly under the sands.

Calmite are often found in large numbers together, along with one very large and verrrry protective Avaslush who will do just about anything to protect their hoard of Calmites.

Not every comic piece I do will be to this degree of rendering, but I thought, eh what the hell. And decided to do it this time since it’s the first post (other than the ref) for this. I’ll start working on other ref sheets for other characters soon! Until then! If anyone has any suggestions or questions or ideas! Hit up my ask box!

My promise still stands by the way- I will draw them shirtless if my ref sheet for them gets too 200 notes-

Hm… i wonder what this little thing here is, a little critter with big yellow eyes. I guess we’ll see soon!

(I was thinking about calling the Au/project Pokémon Lonestar. That would mean ingo has the name sake of the project tho lmaooo lemme know how you feel on that if you have an opinion on that!)
